William J. Lynch is best known for his detailed and informative presentation entitled, Prescription Drug Abuse: Heroin. Pills. It All Kills. Our National Epidemic. He has presented at high profile events like The National Prescription Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit as well as in his local community. Bill's presentation is not only comprehensive in that it covers all types of drugs, but it is also a presentation that is up to date with important statistics, health consequences, side effects and overdose death numbers.
Bill received his pharmacy degree from Rutgers University and is a practicing clinical staff pharmacist with Kennedy University Hospital which is the major core teaching affiliate with the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. His pharmacy background includes 30 years of clinical practice at Kennedy and Rowan and also as a clinical preceptor for Rutgers University, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. He also has been a health care professional partner of the Delaware Prevention Coalition and for the State of Delaware Substance Abuse Epidemiological Outcomes Working Group.
Bill is also a member of the Camden County New Jersey Addiction Awareness Task Force where he serves as the Education and Prevention Committee Co-Chair. He is a certified State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of Criminal Justice Police Training Commission Instructor and teaches at the Camden County College Police Academy. Bill is the overnight clinical staff pharmacist at Kennedy University Hospital, Cherry Hill Division which specializes in behavioral medicine providing pediatric, adolescent, and adult psychological care, 24/7 crisis intervention, and drug and alcohol inpatient detoxification services.
Thousands of middle school and high school students as well as parents have benefited from Bill's eye opening presentations. He has provided informative and instructional training to many different law enforcement agencies and has provided expertise to other health care professionals. Bill is an individual with real concern about the current epidemic we are facing in this country today and has a desire to educate others and to be part of the solution. He participates in many forums and boards, and contributes valuable information to many different organizations. Bill resides in Delaware with his family. He enjoys officiating swim meets and also hiking, reading, and spending time at the Jersey shore.
